Wayne Pratt: Director, CEO

Wayne is the President of our Structures partner, Environeta Solutions Inc. Environeta distributes Airwise Structures in Canada, and represents Resource Recovery Corp as well. He was introduced to waste to energy technology almost 20 years ago when he met Richard Breitbarth on a large waste project in the Philippines. Over the interim years, he has worked with Resource Recovery Corp on a number of proposals, learning both the technical and political intricacies of the industry.

Wayne is a lifelong entrepreneur with a strong background in sales, marketing and project development. He has been in the lead on this project from its conception and instrumental in putting both the project and the team together.

Jim Turner, Director

Jim is the President and CEO of our Aquaponics partner, Alternative Farming Solutions Inc. He brings more than 30 years of business experience to this organization, the majority of it being in the grocery and restaurant sector. He has held many executive positions including the general manager of 4 large grocery stores where he was responsible for merchandising, quality control, expense control, employee development, health and safety programs, labor negotiations, budgeting, production management and community relations. He has also spent time in the company’s head office where he supervised 10 stores both corporate and franchise outlets. His last 12 years in the grocery business was as the owner operator of a large grocery store franchise in Medicine Hat Alberta. Mr. Turner has also worked in sales at a grocery wholesale business where he had both grocery stores and restaurants as clients. He understands how important quality produce is to both of these businesses .Mr. Turner is also Vice-President Corporate Affairs & Administration Of The Monarch Corporation a privately held investment company with interests in the transportation, sports, real estate and investment sectors.

Currently Mr. Turner is a councillor for the city of Medicine Hat where he is involved with most of the economic development agencies including Invest Medicine Hat, Palliser Economic Partnership and the Medicine Hat Chamber of Commerce.


Richard Breitbarth, Director

Richard is  President/CEO and Chief Technical Officer of Resource Recovery Corporation. As such, he will oversee the Project Management Committee, working directly with our engineers and project management. He brings almost twenty years hands-on design knowledge, experience, and contact base in the development of solar, wind, hydro-power, and biomass green energy and renewable energy projects. He has worked in the field of Thermal Anaerobic Gasification (TAG) for those twenty years, most of that time directly with Andrew Hansen, inventor of the original technology.

Richard has acted as an independent consultant on gasification technology to Sinopec Oil Company China, China Petrochemical Corporation, ZPC, SINOPEC, Zhongtian Hechuang Energy Co. Ltd., Waste 2 Energy Ltd. of Great Britain, Syncarb Energy Systems Ltd. of Canada, a number of other corporations and projects, and has been a member of the “Renewable Energy Association of the Philippines”. He has served as a technology consultant with World Bank, Asian Development Bank, and USA Environmental Partnerships programs among others. His engineering background comes from the US Navy, and includes steam plant engineering, advanced steam plant engineering, mechanical and gas turbine energy generation, and nuclear plant engineering.

Gordon Travis, CFO

Gord is Chief Financial Officer of our Aquaponics partner, Alternative Farming Solutions Inc. He has over 30 years of experience in consulting and line management positions in operational and financial areas, focused on building and developing projects and business, and working with teams to achieve profitability, objectives and build visions. Mr. Travis has also acted on the board of directors of private and public companies as well as charitable organizations.

Mr. Travis has direct expertise in executive positions for businesses in complex growth environments including areas such as strategic and operational planning, design, execution and risk management. He also has functional expertise in finance, project/organization funding and execution, business strategy, partnering, information systems, process improvement/control, and regulatory compliance. His industry experience includes intensive crop agriculture, information processing industries such as for large and small health industry charting, medical driven protocols, and other information applications, financial transaction processing for insurance, corporate, government and banks and reservation services for independent travel industry, and oil and gas exploration and production and services industries both upstream and downstream. He is also currently is working in the power industry on optimizing power projects in both gas and alternative generation projects.
